Có lẽ bên Doãn gia và gia đình cô chú Quí Phong không thể lên San Jose để tiễn Minh đi vào ngày thứ Hai sắp tới được.
Vinh và gia đình xin được chia xẻ sự mất mát quá sớm này với Bác gái và cả nhà...

Dear all,
I have just returned from San Jose where I attended Minh's memorial service. There was an enormous turnout of friends (and of course family) and in the end there was standing room only. The front of the chapel had offerings, incense and a large photo of Minh. There were flowers surrounding the area and next to the coffin itself. The service included a video of Minh singing, a poem read by Poppy, an excerpt from Minh's diary about her philosophy of life read by Andrew when he spoke for all the sons, who stood beside him. Andrew then played a piece on the piano that he wrote in the last few days, which was lovely. Others songs were sung. The service was primarily in Vietnamese. Although I did not understand the language, I nevertheless felt the emotions of those speaking and singing and celebrating Minh's life, the theme of which was "a candle twice as bright lasts only half as long."
All of your emails with your names were read to the gathering as written. Thanks were offered to those by name who had been close to Minh. And finally, we said goodbye with a final walk past her open coffin.
I expect to attend tomorrow's final ceremonies as well.
