This is last song in the rolling credit of the movie “The Mule” (2018).
He played it in D (dropped D on top E string) to give that extra ring in the root note (D) with a touch of color notes here and there : 9th note and the 4th note (SUS). And that simple strings arrangement in the backdrop.

Nicely touch without bells and whistles. Good movie too (-:
