ZUCCHINI
Zucchini (/zuːˈkiːniː/) or courgette (/kʊərˈʒɛt/, British English) is a summer squash which can reach nearly a meter in length, but which is usually harvested at half that size or less. A fully grown courgette is referred to as a marrow.
Along with certain other squashes and pumpkins, it belongs to the species Cucurbita pepo. Zucchini can be dark or light green. A related hybrid, the golden zucchini, is a deep yellow or orange color.[1]
In a culinary context, zucchini is treated as a vegetable; it is usually cooked and presented as a savory dish or accompaniment. Botanically, zucchini are fruit, a type of botanical berry, being the swollen ovary of the zucchini flower. Zucchini, like all squash, has its ancestry in the Americas. However, the varieties of squash typically called "zucchini" were developed in Italy, many generations after their introduction from the Americas.

TAKE OUR LIVES INTO OUR OWN HANDS - Thích Phước Tịnh
If you have happy moments in the present, then your past is full of these beautiful moments from the present as they move into the past. Life is only available here and now, and then the future is nourished by the beautiful moments of the past, which are the present moments which become the past. Our wholesome mental formations are nourished and strengthened by these beautiful moments in the present and the unwholesome mental formations lose their strength as we move into the future. Let us acknowledge all the conditions of happiness that are present today. Let us recognize them so we don’t allow them to pass us by. Let us be able to feel nature and the love from our friends and family. Let us open our hearts and the doors of our hearts. Let us open the right compartments of our hearts. Don’t invite up the sad memories from the past. Close those doors and let those memories drift away into oblivion. Let us take our lives into our own hands. Take this moment to practice mindfulness. Use this present moment. If you don’t, you’ll lose the present, the past and the future.

NOW IN THE PRESENT - Thích Phước Tịnh
If we have happiness and joy now in the present, then we can transform our past into something happy. Then we don’t need to be weighed down by the past. So how exactly is it that when we live happily and joyfully in the present moment we can fix the past and enrich our future? On a shallow level, the answer is that when you don’t have joy or happiness, when life is empty, then we invite things in from the past to fill up our minds, and we project that into our future. If we are happy now, we don’t have to think about tomorrow. For example, a rich person who has abundance doesn’t have to worry about the past or the future. It is the same in our spiritual life. If we have enough joy and happiness in the present, we don’t have to invite the past up and worry about our happiness in the future.

...Trong đạo lý Giác Ngộ, thương yêu phải đi đôi với hiểu biết, thương yêu chính là hiểu biết. Nếu không hiểu biết thì không thể thương nhau, Vợ chồng không hiểu nhau thì không thể thương nhau, anh em không hiểu nhau thì không thể thương nhau, cha con không hiểu nhau thì không thể thương nhau. Muốn cho một người nào có hạnh phúc, mình phải tìm hiểu cho được những ước vọng và những khổ đau của chính người ấy. Hiểu được rồi mình mới có thể làm mọi cách để cho người ấy bớt khổ đau và có hạnh phúc. Như vậy mới gọi là tình thương chân thật. Còn nếu mình chỉ muốn kẻ kia làm theo ý của mình, không biết gì đến khổ đau và những nhu cầu chân thực của người ấy thì đó không phải là thương. Đó chỉ là ước muốn chiếm hữu hoặc ước muốn thỏa mãn ý nguyện của mình, cho dù đó là ý nguyện muốn cho người kia được hạnh phúc ...

MAY I SAY .... - Thảo Chi Tina
May I say that I love my job? Never thought I would get the opportunity to work at a restaurant under the name of a well-known chef. Everyday I get to play with beautiful local ingredients, make beautiful food, and hang out with some of the most talented people. Today I may be making fancy lunch for 60, but you never know, one day I may be making glamorous dinner for celebrities at the Oscar.
P.S. Best of all, I still have the afternoon and weekend to spend time with Maya.
